The system of material incentives for employees of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.
The material incentive system for employees of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (hereinafter referred to as the System) was developed in accordance with the current legislation, the Labor Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and regulatory documents of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in order to strengthen social security, improve labor incentives, and increase labor productivity , initiative and individual professional indicators of employees, as well as attracting and retaining highly qualified specialists at the University.
Premiums for achieving planned performance.
The bonus system is an individual reward for achieving established goals and fulfilling tasks in general. The system establishes the following types of allowances for achieving the planned indicators:
– for labor discipline; – for an indicator of the quality of work, functional responsibilities (timeliness, completeness); – for the introduction of new working methods and initiative in the performance of tasks.
One-time bonuses.
For attracting financial resources to the university within the framework of projects and programs of international organizations, university employees are provided with personal prizes in the amounts established by decision of the university leadership.It provides for the payment of one-time bonuses to employees for the holidays specified in Article 131 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.- 8th ofMarch – Women’s Day;- 21 th March – Navruz holiday;- 9th May – Day of Remembrance and Honors;- Ruza Hait and Kurban Hait;- 1st of September – Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan;-1st October – Day of teachers and mentors;- 8th December – Constitution Day;- 1st January – New Year.
Social guarantees and compensations
In order to socially protect workers, taking into account the economic potential of the university, the following types of social support for employees are used:
Payment of remuneration in connection with anniversaries and significant dates:
a) when the employee reaches 50, 55, 60 and 70 years;b) when leaving for a well-deserved rest (retirement);
Payment of financial assistance:
a) due to prolonged incapacity for work (at least 1.5 months) and with an unfavorable clinical prognosis; b) for burial in case of death of the employee; c) in the event of the marriage of an employee; d) for the celebration of participants in the Second World War and persons equated to them; e) to victims of natural disasters in the amount established depending on the amount of damage, within the limits of available funds.
The university pays lump sums in cases of:
a) causing harm to the health of the employee in the performance of their labor duties;b) the death of an employee related to the performance of labor duties;
The employer pays compensation for additional costs associated with the employee’s performance of labor duties in the following cases:
a) reimbursement of expenses during business trips;b) associated with living outside a permanent place of residence.In the event of a difficult financial situation in the family associated with a prolonged illness of family members (more than 1.5 months), one-time financial assistance is paid in the following amount:- one official salary with an experience of work at the University for more than 3 years;- 80% of the official salary with work experience of up to 3 years;- 60% of the official salary with work experience of up to 1 year.
Given the favorable financial situation of the University, establish payments of monetary compensation to employees:
a) monthly for meals; b) the cost of potatoes and vegetables purchased for the autumn-winter period; c) monthly the fare to the place of work by public transport in the amount of the cost of 100 journeys.Provide full or partial payment, but not less than 50%, to employees who need complex operations and inpatient treatment of diseases, upon presentation of the necessary documents.Allocate funds for the provision of material assistance for the purchase of textbooks, school supplies and school uniforms for large and low-income families, by providing the necessary documents.In order to improve the health of the children of the University employees, allocate funds to provide trips to children’s health camps. To allocate funds in order to provide children of workers (from 1 to 12 years old) with tickets and gifts for the New Year holiday tree during the winter holidays.
In addition to the listed benefits and compensations provided by the university, the Trade Union Committee organizes recreational work among Workers and their children, provides preferential tickets for sanatorium-resort treatment and the development of physical culture and relaxation in the health resorts of the Trade Unions of Uzbekistan (in the amount of at least 45% of the total cost). The university also provides an interest-free loan to employees in the amount of not more than its annual salary. At the same time, the employee must work at the university for at least 3 years.
