Сultural life of the university
Today, the aim of the university is not only to train highly qualified specialists for automotive, mechanical engineering and electrical industries, enterprises and organizations of industrial and civil design and construction, but also to educate a comprehensively developed youth with high moral standards.
Moreover, the department on working with youth conducts various cultural and educational events aimed at promoting the formation of students’ modern thinking and civic position, motivating students to lead a healthy lifestyle, self-realization, creative and spiritual potential, as well as the development of cultural and scientific values, enhance the traditions of the university, as well as familiarizing it with national and universal values.
One of the main goals is to form students’ knowledge about their future profession, as well as to reveal the scientific, intellectual potential of young people and interest in scientific achievements in various spheres by means of organizing different meetings with successful people and professionals.
It has become a remarkable tradition to deliver events with distinguished representatives of art and creative community aimed at forming the artistic and aesthetic consciousness of young people.
Young people are especially interested in organising and conducting the various sports and recreational activities, which undoubtedly leads to the formation of a philosophy of a healthy lifestyle among students.
At the disposal of university students, there is a sports complex where they can practice such sports as football, basketball, volleyball, national kurash, athletics, swimming, chess, table tennis, arm wrestling, fitness and others.
With great pleasure, students participate in national holidays such as “October 1 – Day of mentors and teachers”, “Navruz”, organizing different contests to find out culinary abilities. In addition, on New Year’s Eve it is a tradition for our students visit the kids in orphanage houses in Tashkent and other regions putting them in a good mood.
