Happy Victory Day!

The 9th of May is an unforgettable day in our lives. The day of our Victory over a terrible war, a day to remember those who fought for our freedom and peaceful life.

For the Day of Remembrance and Honour, the administration and students of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent conducted an excursion to the Victory Park, organized a round table with veterans, and visited the homes of war veterans currently living in the Chimboy, Akhil, Gulzor and Gani Azamov mahallas.

The trip to the Victory Park proved to be full of knowledge of history for all visitors. Everyone managed to feel the atmosphere of the merciless war, its pains and fears.

A meeting with World War 2 veterans at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent was held online due to pandemic situation and quarantine. The guests shared their memories of that difficult period.

In addition, this year we managed to visit the homes of 20 veterans, who participated in the Afgan war and World War II and gave presents on behalf of the university.
