European Union – Uzbekistan Sustainable Energy Days

On November 20 of this year, expert lectures in the field of energy were held at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent within the framework of the “Sustainable Energy Days” of Uzbekistan and European Union.

On November 20 of this year, lectures by experts in the field of energy were held as part of the European Union – Uzbekistan Sustainable Energy Days at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

At the beginning of the event, a tour for guests was organized along TTPU and closely acquainted with the activities of the University, in particular the scientific research of professors and students.

The event, held with the participation of students and faculty members from Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Tashkent Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute, Tashkent state technical university named after Islam Karimov, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, was opened with welcoming speeches by Vice-Rector for Financial-Economic Issues and Innovations at TTPU Jaloliddin Yusupov, and Head of Cooperation Section of the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan Wim Riepma.

The event was organized by European Union-funded project “sustainable energy relations in Central Asia (SECCA)” in cooperation with the Ministry of preschool and school education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and innovation of Republic of Uzbekistan and the strategic reform agency under the president of Republic of Uzbekistan.

The EU-funded project “sustainable energy relations in Central Asia (SECCA)” (March 2022-March 2026) aims to promote a sustainable energy balance in Central Asian region in line with European Union’s advanced experiences.
