We are pleased to invite you to participate in IERBS-2025: Improving Earthquake Resilience of Building Structures Through Technical Capacity Building, an international scientific and practical conference organized in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino, which will take place on March 10-13, 2025. We encourage you to submit your research papers and contribute to discussions on key topics such as:
✔ Seismic safety of buildings and structures
✔ Innovative methods for enhancing seismic resilience
✔ Disaster risk reduction and management
Main Areas:
Section 1: Structural and seismic safety of buildings and structures, modern methods of calculation and design;
Section 2: Modern methods of determining seismic stability of cultural heritage objects;
Section 3: Modern architecture, energy-saving building materials, and technologies;
Section 4: Prospects for applying foreign normative documents in urban planning and construction within the Republic of Uzbekistan;
Section 5: The role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in disaster risk reduction and management in human settlements.
THE IMPORTANT NOTES
The working language of the conference is Uzbek, Russian and English. Plenary lectures (20 minutes) and oral presentations (15 minutes) will be dedicated to the specific areas of the Conference.
The Conference materials (Abstracts) will be published in electronic form before March 5, 2025.
Articles selected by the conference organizing committee will publish in the journal of ACTA TTPU (Journal included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan).
The conference will be held at the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (Building B) at the address: Tashkent, Kichik Halka Yuli str. 17.

PUBLICATIONS
The abstract and full papers must be submitted only in Uzbek, Russian and English. After receiving a positive result of the preliminary review, a notification about the inclusion of the presentation to the Conference program will be sent. The electronic form of the abstract and full paper should be sent to the following email address: ierbs2025@polito.uz or sanjar.anvarov@polito.uz.
REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMATTING ARTICLES:
1. Full papers are accepted in Uzbek, Russian, English, and should be an average 4-7 pages, following the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) structure.
2. The Full papers text should be printed on A4 paper using Microsoft Word (in RTF format), with the following formatting: Font: Times New Roman; Font Size: 14; Line Spacing: 1.5; Margins: Left, Right, Top, and Bottom should be 20 mm. Pages should not be numbered, and words in the text should not be hyphenated.
3. The article should include the following information: On the first line on the left side, after 1- line spacing, write the title of the article. On the next line, write the author’s last name, first name, patronymic, place of work, and the name of the sector where the article is submitted, all in capital letters.
4. The list of literature used should be included at the end of the article and cited in square brackets [1]. Figures and diagrams in the article must be of high quality and 10×15 cm in size. The author’s surname and branch number must be indicated in the article file.
5. Each author can submit a maximum of two articles. Authors are personally responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the information and facts provided in their articles and abstracts.
6. The organizing committee reserves the right to review the text of articles and abstracts. Those that do not align with the conference topics, fail to meet the requirements, or are submitted after the specified date will not be published, and the manuscripts will not be returned.
