TTPU Delegation Participates in Training on Sustainable Transport in Spain

From November 19 to 21, 2024, a delegation from Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TTPU), led by Rector Tuychiev O.A. and including professors and teaching staff, participated in a significant training on ‘Sustainable Transport within the Framework of the Green Deal’ at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain.

The event aimed to promote innovative solutions for sustainable transport and brought together experts, scholars, and industry professionals.

The training began with a visit to the renowned Automotive Research Institute (INSIA) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. There, the delegation familiarized themselves with the latest advancements in transportation technologies. Additionally, TTPU representatives visited the Faculty of Telecommunications Engineering at the same university, where they received detailed information about ongoing developments in sustainable solutions. One of the key events on the second day was a presentation by Dr. Sanjarbek Ruzimov titled “Results on survey for sustainable transport stakeholders”. This presentation provided valuable insights into the challenges and innovative approaches in Uzbekistan’s sustainable transport sector, highlighting TTPU’s leadership in this field.

On the final day, specialized training sessions were conducted for members of the SPHERE project consortium. These sessions focused on the development of course catalogs, the design of curricula, and the establishment of modern laboratories dedicated to research and education in sustainable transport. TTPU representatives actively participated throughout the event, engaging in knowledge-sharing sessions and strengthening collaborations with international institutions and organizations.

TTPU’s participation in this event reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable transport initiatives. These efforts include developing competency catalogs and courses, establishing modern scientific laboratories, and ensuring the mobility of teaching staff to enhance educational quality. This event further solidified TTPU’s role as a leader in sustainable transport education and research, advancing global efforts in sustainability and innovation.
