On 18 November 2025, within the framework of the Germany–Uzbekistan Rectors’ Forum held in Germany, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening academic cooperation was signed between Olimjon Tuychiev, Rector of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TTPU), and Prof. Jörg Bagdahn, Rector of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Anhalt, HSA). The event took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Germany and brought together leaders of higher education institutions from both countries.

The memorandum establishes a strong foundation for long-term and strategic cooperation between the two universities, including the development and implementation of joint educational programs (such as 1+1 and dual-degree master’s programs), academic mobility initiatives for professors and students, and the launch of joint scientific research projects.
