On June 15 of this year, a delegation led by the rector of China-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade of the People’s Republic of China, Zheng Shi, visited the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

During the visit, TTPU rector O. Tuychiev organized a tour of the university for members of the delegation and introduced them in detail to the educational and scientific activities of the university.

During the meeting held as part of this visit, issues of expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed, in particular, student exchange, advanced training of specialists, and organization of Chinese language courses for students. The two leaders also exchanged views on the opening of the China-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade cooperation center on the territory of the Polytechnic University of Turin in Tashkent.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed with TTPU and CSCOIET. The head of CSCOIET, Zheng Shi, invited the head of TTPU to the institute to familiarize himself with the activities of the China-Sco Institute of Economy and Trade.
