On April 9 of the current year, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and commander Amir Temur was organized at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.

The main objective of the event was to strengthen national pride and patriotism among youth, to deeply study the rich historical heritage of our great ancestors, and to encourage learning from their lives and activities.

The event was attended by retired Colonel of the Ministry of Defense Gulmurod Keldiyarovich Khushvaqov, retired Lieutenant Colonel Ulugʻbek Abdurahmonovich Zufarov, Ma’mura Zoxidova — holder of the “Sog‘lom avlod uchun” order and representative of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan — as well as university students.

During the event, First Vice-Rector of the university Alisher Ashurov delivered a speech and spoke about Amir Temur’s significant contribution to state governance, military art, science, and cultural development. In addition, students presented reports and artistic performances dedicated to the life and activities of Sahibqiran. These performances made a strong impression on the participants of the event.

In their speeches, the guests paid special attention to educating youth in the spirit of patriotism, preserving historical heritage, and becoming a generation worthy of our great ancestors. It was emphasized that Amir Temur’s rich legacy, exemplary life, and great deeds serve as an important school of life for every individual.
