In November 2025, a scientific-practical internship dedicated to seismic safety is taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye. teachers from the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering Anvarov S. and Yergasheva N. are actively participating in the program.

As part of the program, participants are gaining insight into seismic safety practices, engineering solutions, and earthquake-resistant construction systems at leading institutions such as Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul Aydin University, the Kandilli Research Observatory, and the Beylikduzu Disaster Education Center. They are also visiting Istanbul Project Coordination Unit, Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital, Gürlek Nakipoğlu Anatolian High School and Yeditepe University to explore modern laboratories and seismic protection systems installed in major facilities.

This internship serves as an important platform for international knowledge exchange and the adoption of modern construction standards and engineering approaches aimed at improving seismic safety systems in Uzbekistan.
