On January 27, 2025, a round table with representatives of the transport sector was organized at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE SPHERE project.

The event was attended by representatives of BYD Uzbekistan, ADM Jizzakh, Mangano Robot Central Asia, and other leading companies, during which issues related to strengthening cooperation between academia and industry were discussed.

As part of the round table, a seminar was delivered for company representatives, presenting the objectives, key areas of activity, and current progress of the SPHERE project. Particular attention was paid to the opportunities offered by the project for enhancing the qualifications and professional capacity of transport sector specialists. During the open discussion, participants exchanged views on industry needs, priority training areas, and the organization of future training programs for company professionals.

As a result of the discussions, the parties agreed to organize training activities within the framework of the SPHERE project in the areas of Green Vehicle Technologies, diagnostics of electric and hybrid vehicles, modeling and simulation of traffic processes, as well as technologies for driver training.

In addition, at the conclusion of the event, the guests were introduced to the Sustainable Urban Mobility Laboratory established within the SPHERE project, along with modern equipment procured for educational, training, and research activities.
