FESTIVE EVENT HELD UNDER THE SLOGAN “YOU ARE PRECIOUS, DEAR WOMAN”

On March 4, 2026, the spiritual and educational festive event dedicated to International Women’s Day – March 8 was organized at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent under the slogan “You Are Precious, Dear Woman”.

The event was attended by First Vice-Rector of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent Alisher Ashurov, Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Workers of the Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering Industries of Uzbekistan Tal’at Usmonov, Uzbekistan’s Honored Artist, theatre and film actor Aleksandr Bekjonov, Professor of Tashkent State University of Law Firyuza Muhitdinova, as well as trade union activists of sectoral enterprises in Tashkent city and Tashkent region, active women, and veterans of the Republican Council.

During the event, a number of women who distinguished themselves through their active work and initiative in public affairs were awarded certificates of honor and commemorative gifts.

In addition, an ethnographic and staged historical costume show prepared by the P. Benkov Specialized Art School was organized as part of the event, bringing a festive atmosphere to the participants.

The event once again highlighted the role of women in society, their dedicated work, and their worthy contribution to the development of the country.
