Italian technologies in practical education: Training with modern welding equipment has started

At Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, practical training sessions have started at the Italy–Uzbekistan Center for Advanced Engineering, established through cooperation with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), UCIMU (Italian association for manufacturers) using modern Italian-made welding equipment.

This Center for Advanced Engineering is dedicated to training specialists based on “Made in Italy” technologies. Within the framework of this cooperation project, the supplied welding equipment has been fully integrated into the University’s Welding Class training courses.

Currently, under the guidance of experienced instructors, students are gradually learning:

⚙️ the technical structure and operating principles of welding equipment
⚙️ industrial safety and occupational health requirements
⚙️ correct and efficient use of modern welding technologies
⚙️ performing welding processes based on practical tasks

These practical training sessions and welding courses aim to strengthen specialists’ theoretical knowledge, prepare them in conditions close to real industrial environments, and develop competitive engineering professionals with strong practical skills in line with international standards.
